Can you tell a story?
Can you tell a story from your own life experiences perhaps from when you were a child of how you “shared your bread” with someone or they “shared bread” with you. Sometimes we are touched by peoples generosity and we are grateful for it but that’s not always the case. Sometimes others think we are living in poverty but we don’t see ourselves that way and rather despise the implication of their generosity.
Share our Bread is the title of this year’s Easter Festival at Westwood Church which echoes the events of the Last Supper as well as miracles Jesus performed in feeding the four thousand and the five thousand. Our Easter Festival will be trying to support a new initiative in East Kilbride called “Cross out Child Poverty” so your stories could be very pertinent to the task in front of that new initiative. Why not leave your story hear and perhaps we will be able to use it as part of our Easter Festival. We’ll keep all stories anonymous!
