New Name – the results are in!
Many many thanks to everyone who took the time and opportunity at both Greenhills and Westwood to have your say on the name of the United Congregation.
Here’s how the voting went..

Based on these results the Daft Basis of Union document will reflect “Westhills” as the name of the united congregation. The full legal name being, “East Kilbride: Westhills Parish Church of Scotland SC001857”. The Draft Basis of Union needs to be agreed by both Kirk Session before being presented to Presbytery. Should we learn that “Westhills” is not an acceptable name at Presbytery level, or at Church of Scotland Law Department or General Trustees level we have “New Kilbryde” as our plan B.
